We're Elias and Gabriel — a couple of 4.5 years, and the two people behind Common Love Lab. Like many Hong Kong couples, we've had the same fight in different costumes: one of us feeling unseen, the other feeling unappreciated. Eventually we realised the problem was never love. It was that nobody ever taught us how to say it.
So we started researching and building a warmer, easier way for couples to reach common ground — first for ourselves, then for everyone else.
Elias Tse
Elias is the artistic half of the pair. Trained in architecture and now studying psychology, she's happiest when she's drawing, designing games, or turning an ordinary evening into a small event. In Sticky Beans, everything you find adorable is probably her doing. Introvert. Likes to stay beside trees and walk beside lakes.
Gabriel Cheung
Gabriel is the philosophical thinker who reads psychology papers for fun. He's spent years exploring how people connect — from running relationship workshops for teenagers to helping people make peace with their emotions. Calm, curious, and secretly sentimental, he's the one making sure every feature in Sticky Beans genuinely helps, not just entertains.
